• Since a house location drawing is not a boundary survey and does not identify property boundary lines, State Regulations require us to have your approval regarding your choice of the type of survey available to you.

• A house location survey is acceptable to your lender. However, it does not establish the actual property lines and cannot be used to build a fence, nor will it reflect all easements and rights of way. The cost of a house location survey is approximately $225.00.

• If you wish to obtain a survey which identifies the property lines, we will need to order a boundary survey for you. We will need to know as soon as possible if you need a boundary survey since that type of survey takes longer to complete. The cost of a boundary survey will be at least $750.00.

_____ I/We approve the preparation of a house location survey. I/We have read the explanation above and understand that, in the absence of any problem revealed by or during the preparation of the house location survey, it will be all that is required of my/our lender for settlement.
