Settlement "To Do" List

When Due

                  

 furnish Friendship Title, Inc. with the name, address and phone number of your lender, and the name of your loan officer ASAP
                   return survey approval form ASAP

                  		 call Friendship Title Inc. to schedule or confirm your scheduled settlement date ASAP

                  

 arrange for homeowner's insurance or condominium contents insurance (have you received your condominium resale package?) at least 1 week prior to settlement

                  

 call Friendship Title, Inc. to get final settlement figures; request wire instructions or get certified/cashiers check 2-3 days before settlement
 
  • stay in touch with your loan officer - make sure all requirements have been met
  • contact the appropriate utility companies to have utilities transferred to your name
  • bring to settlement photo id, certified funds and any outstanding conditions of your mortgage loan commitment
