Harold
has negotiated and reviewed real estate contracts throughout Maryland and
the District of Columbia. Harold served on two Montgomery County Commissions,
the Commission for Land Record Reform and the Commission for Persons with
Special Needs. He also has been on the Board of Directors for the Centers
for the Handicapped and acts in an advisory capacity to many organizations
that provide various services for persons with special needs. Harold was
appointed by the Governor of Maryland to serve as a Public Member of the
Maryland State Board of Examining Engineers. Harold received his law degree
from American University Washington College of Law in 1969 and a B.S. from
Hunter College, City University of New York in 1966. He is admitted to
practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the US Supreme Court
and various federal courts.
Sherri
has handled many §1031 (Starker) Tax Deferred Exchanges, aiding
clients in obtaining favorable tax consequences when selling commercial
and investment real property. Sherri is a member of the Maryland State
Bar Association's Elder Law Section and Estate and Trust Law Section. Sherri
received her Masters of Law in Tax from Georgetown University in 1985 and
her law degree from American University Washington College of Law in 1981.
Sherri graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh in 1978,
earning a B.S. Sherri is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District
of Columbia. She is also admitted before the US Tax Court, the US Supreme
Court and various federal courts.
